Accessories

01 Jun, 2009

Jewelry should compliment, and not overwhelm your gown. If you have a very plain gown you can be flashier with accessories, if your gown is already full of beads, pearls, and jewels you will not need elaborate earrings or a heavy necklace.

Choose jewelry to suit the style of dress. Always ask advice – of your bridesmaids, the dress designer and jeweler. The style of neckline, dress length, and texture of fabric will affect this decision.

Often the ‘something old’ in a bride’s attire is an heirloom jewelry item. Keep this in mind when choosing your gown and other jewelry.
