Choosing A Coordinator

01 Jun, 2009

It is estimated that it takes over 300 hours to plan a wedding. Apart from the obvious large plans – venue; guest list; honeymoon – there are countless small details and decisions, such as dealing with RSVP’s, seating arrangements, and etiquette, which need to be made, organized, and executed. This can be overwhelming for any bride, and some choose to hire a wedding coordinator, or planner, to help them.

Most brides these days are employed in the workplace with limited time available so hiring a coordinator is advantageous. Look around at current functions and get references in order to choose the coordinator you feel most comfortable with.

As well as being person experienced in organizing all aspects of a function, your coordinator should act as your go-between, your advocate to all the different vendors involved in making your wedding the event you have always dreamed it would be.
